Our Safety Commitment

Since 2019, our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Department has been committed to fostering a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility throughout our organization. Operating under a comprehensive Risk Management System and the Health, Safety, and Environment Management System (HSEMS), we provide a structured framework to systematically identify, assess, and manage risks associated with our business activities. This is especially critical given the high-risk nature of our operations, such as in cement production facilities, where safety and environmental stewardship are paramount.

Our journey began with an extensive gap analysis aimed at identifying areas of non-compliance, operational inefficiencies, and potential hazards. Based on these findings, we developed and implemented tailored policies, procedures, and standard operating rules designed to mitigate risks effectively. A key focus has been raising awareness and building capacity across all levels of the organization through targeted training programs, safety campaigns, and regular communication, ensuring every employee understands their vital role in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.

To enhance transparency and accountability, we established a robust reporting mechanism that captures near-misses, unsafe conditions, and incidents. This system enables timely investigation, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective and preventive measures, fostering a proactive safety culture that continually evolves in response to operational challenges.

Leadership engagement has been instrumental in positioning HSE as a core organizational value. We collaborate closely with senior management to integrate HSE principles into strategic planning and everyday decision-making, elevating the HSE Department from a compliance-focused function to a strategic business partner that contributes significantly to organizational resilience and operational excellence.

Our continuous improvement efforts are guided by the globally recognized Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle. We begin by planning through hazard identification and objective setting, followed by doing, which involves executing policies, procedures, and training programs. Next, we check performance through monitoring, audits, and incident analysis, and finally, we act by implementing corrective and preventive actions based on the insights gained. This iterative process ensures that our HSE management system remains dynamic, effective, and capable of adapting to new challenges while supporting sustainable growth and a safe working environment for all employees.
