At Gasin and Tasluja Cement Companies, we recognize that
long-term industrial success must be rooted in environmental responsibility. As
part of Faruk Investment Group, we are committed to aligning our operations
with global sustainability standards, while addressing the environmental
challenges associated with cement production through structured, science-based,
and forward-thinking initiatives.
Our environmental strategy is built around minimizing
emissions, optimizing resource use, and embedding sustainability into our core
processes. A key element of this strategy is the use of Refuse-Derived Fuel
(RDF) as a partial substitute for conventional fuels at the Gasin Cement Plant.
By integrating RDF into our energy mix, we are able to significantly reduce
carbon emissions while contributing to the circular economy through the
recovery of energy from non-recyclable waste. This initiative reflects our proactive
approach to climate action and our commitment to reducing the carbon intensity
of our operations.
Air quality improvement is another pillar of our
environmental agenda. At both the Gasin and Tasluja facilities, we have
implemented advanced filtration technologies and undertaken major upgrades to
our emission control systems.
At the Tasluja Plant, for example, traditional electrostatic
precipitators have been replaced with high-efficiency bag filter systems,
resulting in substantial reductions in dust emissions and improved compliance
with regulatory limits. These upgrades are complemented by real-time emission
monitoring and process optimization measures that ensure consistent
environmental performance.
We have also taken strong measures to control wastewater and
prevent water pollution through the modernization of water treatment systems at
both sites. In addition, ongoing greening initiatives are enhancing the natural
environment around our plants and supporting local biodiversity.
All of these initiatives are guided by a comprehensive
Environmental Management System (EMS), supported by clear policies, operational
controls, and continuous training for our staff. We believe that environmental
stewardship is not a one-time effort, but a continuous journey of improvement
and innovation. Through strategic planning, investment in cleaner technologies,
and a strong culture of responsibility, we are dedicated to ensuring that our
industrial development contributes positively to a more sustainable future.
